I didn't fish in last weekend's tournament because the Adams family was at St. Louis to watch a moto supercross event at the Edward Jones Dome.
My wife's nephew, Justin Bogle, is having a great rookie season in the circuit. We got to go into the pits and see how everything works.
The races were a lot more exciting than I expected. They had fireworks and everything else that you can imagine.
When I smelled all the high-octane fuel and all the dirt, I wanted to jump on a motorcycle and jump something.
Kevin Windham put on one heck of a pre-race spectacle and got the crowd pumped up. I just loved it, and my family had one great weekend.
We rode the Metrolink from the hotel to the Edward Jones Dome. It's an underground subway just like you see on TV.
When we finally got back to our room, Jacques said, “We're not made for the big city!” We were nervous being on the subway and being underground with all those people.
For those interested, the next big Supercross races will take place this weekend at Daytona, Fla. They can be vied on the Speed Channel at 6 p.m. Saturday. Be looking for Justin Bogle!
Needless to say, we were glad to get back to Poteau.
Save the world, recycle.
God bless our troops and veterans.
Have a great weekend.
