Weather cancels SE Baseball Coaches Association All-Star tryouts, game

Mother Nature's wrath is being felt once more this spring.
Besides the devastating tornado which hit Moore on Monday, all the rain which came through Monday and Tuesday has totally washed out the 2013 Southeastern Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association North All-Star tryouts and subsequent all-star game slated for tonight at McAlester's Mike Deak Field.
The North tryouts, which was to feature Poteau's Jay Werner and Blake Johnson and their all-star hopeful teammates being coached by first-year Poteau coach Andy Perdue, was to have taken place last Wednesday night, but were rained out and originally rescheduled for tonight — which was the original night of the North-South All-Star Game.
