SPIRO â€” The Spiro Bulldogs ran their record to 3-0 with a 14-3 five-inning, run-rule victory Saturday afternoon over the Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside Grizzlies.
Trailing 3-0 after the top of the first inning, the Bulldogs broke the game open with a four-run first inning and a pair of five-run innings in the second and third innings to take a 14-3 lead.
Cameron 6, Hackett, Ark., 4: Friday afternoon in Hackett, down 4-3 after three innings, the Yellowjackets scored twice in the fifth inning and once in the sixth to get the come-from-behind victory.
Wister 6, Elgin 1: Friday night at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, tied at 1-1, the Wildcats scored four runs in the fifth inning of the five-inning game to get the win. A pair of two-RBI doubles, one each by Clint Crane and Dalton Brown, highlighted the rally.
Sallisaw-Central 4, Panama 1: Friday afternoon in Sallisaw, all four runs the Tigers scored were unearned against Panama pitcher Tyler Sebo, who only allowed two hits.
Stigler 5, Talihina 4: Friday afternoon in Stigler, nothing more was reported on the game.
