VAN BUREN, Ark. — The Poteau Pirates got their first win of the season Saturday afternoon with a 48-40 win over Farmington, Ark., in the seventh-place game of the Citizens Bank Classic.
Howe 78, Keota 35: Friday night in Keota, the Lions (3-2), who led 26-16 at halftime, took control of the game in the second half as the outscored the Lions 52-19.
Leflore 60, Calvin 32: Friday night in Calvin, the Savages (7-1) won their sixth straight game.
Spiro 63, Stilwell 49: Friday night in Stilwell, the Bulldogs (2-0) led 19-16 after one period and slowly increased their lead from there.
Whitesboro 81, Buffalo Valley 62: Friday night in Buffalo Valley, the Bulldogs (2-7) jumped out to a 33-20 lead after one period and never looked back.
Porum 51, Panama 49: Saturday in Porum, the Razorbacks (0-2) had their second-half rally come up short.
