BROKEN BOW — The Poteau Lady Pirates made it a 2-0 weekend as they posted a come-from-behind 51-48 win over the Broken Bow Lady Savages on Saturday.
Trailing 27-16 at halftime, the Lady Pirates outscored the Lady Savages 25-5 in the third quarter to take a 41-32 lead into the final period.
Bokoshe 57, Wister 35: Friday night in Bokoshe, the Lady Tigers jumped out to a 12-4 lead after a period to take control of the game.
Panama 51, Cameron 34: Friday night in Panama, the Lady Razorbacks celebrated homecoming with a victory. After leading 9-4 after a period, the Lady ’Backs outscored the Lady Yellowjackets 13-3 in the second quarter, thanks to three 3-point baskets, to take a 22-7 halftime lead.
Arkoma 64, McCurtain 37: Friday night in Arkoma, the Lady Mustangs had few problems with the Lady Bulldogs.
Keota 46, Howe 44: Friday night in Keota, in a battle of Lady Lions, Haskell County’s squad came out victorious.
Down 21-18 at halftime, Keota outscored Howe 14-5 in the third quarter to take a 32-26 lead into the final period.
Down 46-44 with seconds left in the fourth quarter, Howe had a couple of chances to tie the game, but Courtney Brown’s shot was blocked by Keota’s Jade Carry and a second attempt missed the mark.
