ATOKA — The Poteau Lady Pirates suffered a 45-43 road loss to the Atoka Lady Wampus Cats on Saturday afternoon at Kelley Fieldhouse. The Lady Cats had a 14-10 lead after a period and never lost the lead, although the Lady Pirates cut the deficit to two points at the end of each half.
Arkoma 67, Cameron 46: Friday night in Arkoma, the Lady Mustangs jumped out to an 18-11 lead after a period.
Howe 79, Bokoshe 26: Friday night in Bokoshe, the Lady Lions, leading 10-7 after a period, outscored the Lady Tigers in the second quarter 20-9 for a 30-16 halftime lead.
Talihina 58, Wilburton 56, OT: Friday night in Talihina, the Lady Golden Tigers got to make it a happy homecoming when Keisha Brown hit two free throws with 14 seconds left in overtime to break a 56-all tie.
Panama 53, McCurtain 44: Friday night in McCurtain, after trailing 15-10 after a period, the Lady Razorbacks outscored the Lady Bulldogs 10-8 in the second quarter to take a 25-23 lead at halftime, which the locals never relinquished.
Hartshorne 38, Pocola 36: Friday night in Hartshorne, the Lady Miners used a 10-8 final period to break a 28-all tie.
Stigler 64, Heavener 49: Friday night in Stigler, the Lady Panthers led 15-6 after a period and never lost their lead.
