Weekend High School Softball Roundup

BATTIEST — The Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs went 1-2 in the Battiest Tournament this past weekend. After beating Roland 7-6 on Friday, they lost later that day 7-3 to host Battiest and fell 9-1 to Broken Bow on Saturday.
Talihina's games in the event were not reported by press time.
Monday Games Canceled
All of Monday's games were rained out due to Sunday's rain. Games lost to wet fields were Poteau and Fort Gibson at Muldrow, Cameron at Howe, Muldrow at Panama, Pocola at Quinton and Wister at Buffalo Valley.
Editor's note: Poteau's girls did not play in the Muskogee Festival on Friday. Nothing was reported on Howe's games on Friday in the Wilburton Festival by press time.
