Western Oklahoma State sweeps basketball twinbill from Carl Albert Monday night

February 1, 2012

Despite the score being tied at 15-15 at halftime, the Western Oklahoma State College Lady Pioneers were able to outscore the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings by 10 points in the second half to come away with a 49-39 win in the first game on Monday night's Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference contest in Altus.
Too many turnovers for the Vikings proved to be the difference in a 74-50 win for the Pioneers in Monday night's OCAC nightcap.
The CASC teams will return to action Thursday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse when they welcome the Connors State College squads to town. The women's game will tip off at 6 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 8 p.m.
