WILBURTON — The Whitesboro Bulldogs are a win away from making next week's Class B State Tournament. The ’Dogs downed the Moyers Tigers 47-29 Saturday night at the Wilburton High School Gym to win the Class B Regional Tournament.
The Bulldogs will meet Southwest Covenant at 8 p.m. Friday in the title game of the Class B Area Tournament at Ada High School's Cougar Activity Center, with the winner advancing to next week's state tournament. The Whitesboro-Moyers loser will still have a shot at state the next night, playing for the consolation championship.
However, the season did end for the Lady Bulldogs as the Kinta Lady Eagles avenged their loss to Whitesboro in the district finals with a 40-25 win. Whitesboro reached the consolation finals with a 50-28 win over Victory Life.
