Whitesboro boys stay alive, beat Battiest

February 17, 2012

STRINGTOWN — The Whitesboro Bulldogs took the first step of a three-step process to get to next week's Class B Area Tournament in Kingston.
The ’Dogs defeated the Battiest Panthers 42-32 Thursday afternoon at the Class B Regional Tournament.
The Bulldogs will play at 8 p.m. tonight at Moss High School near Holdenville in the consolation semifinals against Moss. That winner will then play for the consolation championship — and a trip to next weekend's area tournament — at 3 p.m. Saturday, also at Moss High School. Tonight's loser will be eliminated from the playoffs.
