Wickware, Warner capture 2013 Classic

The LeFlore County Bass Club had its 2013 Classic last weekend at Sallisaw Creek Ramp on Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. There were 36 boats of anglers who caught a total of 161 fish with a combined weight of 412.55 pounds. Each fish averaged 2.56 pounds, and 21 limits were caught.
Jason Wickware and Russ Warner were crowned Classic champions as they brought 31.5 pounds of fish to the scales to earn $4,000.
Kevin Bell and Jesse Patton were runners-up (26.46 pounds, $2,000), followed by Doug and Dwight Camp (25.83, $1,000), Chuck Restine and Steve Core (25.18, $600), Dwayne and Ivan Williams (24.25, $400), Joe Phillips II and Boog Watts (24.05, $200) and Robbie Brassfield and Keith Jones (23.21, $100).
Phillips II had the Day 1 big bass winner (5.63 pounds), while the Day 2 big bass was caught by Warner (5.6 pounds). Brian Adams had the big bass of the year during the 2013 circuit, an 8.57-pounder). The big bass winners pocketed $680, while Adams earned $750 for his honor.
