Willis “Chuck” Armstrong, 82, of Muskogee, formerly of Spiro died Thursday, March 27, 2014, in Tulsa. Chuck was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Poteau to Sylvester and Evie (Phillips) Armstrong. He drove a dairy truck. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Shady Point. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ira and Harlen Armstrong. 
Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; five daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn Young of Van Buren, Ark., Pam and Ron Clark of Claremore, Sue and Jerry Garner of Oktaha, Sharon Thomas of Muskogee, Deborah and John Coleman of Broken Arrow; 14 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Thompson of Poteau; brother, Buford Armstrong of Pocola; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 31, at First Assembly of God in Shady Point with the Rev. Joe Owen officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Heath, Ryan and Randy Clark, Brian “Cotton” Scamardo, Charles Scoggins and John Coleman. Honorary pallbearer will be Reggie Clark.
Family visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
