Wilma Sue Marler

Wilma Sue Marler, 81, Cameron, died Jan. 26, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born Oct. 6, 1930, at Washburn, Ark., to Roland Rease and Ocie Bell (Gipson) Francis. Wilma was a homemaker and a retired nursing assistant. For many years she provided a loving home environment for approximately 60 foster children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carrol Cooper, who helped raise her children; five brothers, Gene, Elmer, Velmer, Alford and Orb Francis; a sister, Ernestine Johnson; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
 Wilma is survived by her husband James Marler of the home; four sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Lovell of Cameron, Terry and Cheryl Lovell of Shady Point, D.J. and Cassie Lovell of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Steve Lovell of Poteau; a daughter, Linda Niblett of Cameron; a brother, Troy Francis of Panama; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, with Bro. Jackie Edwards officiating.  Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron.
Family will greet friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. You may leave an on-line greeting to the family at www.gracemanorfh.com.
