Wister boys, Howe girls get top seeds for 2013 LeFlore County JH Basketball Tournament; sites will be host Monroe, Howe, Heavener, with semifinals, finals at CASC

The Wister Wildcats and the Howe Lady Lions were selected as the top seeds of the 2013 LeFlore County Junior High Basketball Tournament at Wednesday night's seeding meeting, which took place at Western Sizzlin'.
The ’Cats are undefeated which helped them garner the No. 1 seed on the boys side, with Poteau/Pansy Kidd Middle School getting the No. 2 seed.
The Monroe Eagles, who won last weekend's Fanshawe Tournament, were seeded third, with Talihina fourth, Spiro fifth, Heavener sixth, Leflore seventh and Howe eighth.
Pocola's boys are seeded ninth, Hodgen 10th, Whitesboro 11th, Panama 12th, Fanshawe 13th, Cameron 14th, Arkoma 15th, Bokoshe 16th and Shady Point 17th.
The Lady Lions and the Hodgen Lady Bulldogs are both undefeated, but Howe edged Hodgen for the No. 1 seed in the voting as the Lady Bulldogs got the second seed.
Poteau/Pansy Kidd Middle School was seeded third, followed by Heavener in fourth, Monroe fifth, Wister sixth, Bokoshe seventh and Talihina eighth.
Arkoma's girls got the No. 9 seed, with Spiro 10th, Leflore 11th, Panama 12th, Fanshawe 13th, Pocola 14th, Whitesboro 15th, Cameron 16th and Shady Point 17th.
