Wister boys make state semifinals with win over Oktaha Tigers

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Wister Wildcats baseball team is two wins from repeating as Class 2A state champions.The Wildcats took the first step of repeating as state champs with a 9-4 win over the Oktaha Tigers in the quarterfinals of the Class 2A State Tournament Thursday night at Dolese Park.The ’Cats (23-2) were slated to play the Silo Rebels Friday night at Dolese Park, with the winner playing the Dale-Tushka winner at 1 p.m. this afternoon in the state title game at Shawnee's Ed Skelton Field.
