Wister man faces string of drug-related charges

June 23, 2014

Bail was denied Monday for a Wister man accused of committing a string of drug-related crimes Saturday.
Gary E. Henderson, 36, was jailed in LeFlore County for attempting to elude an officer, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, two counts of resisting arrest, tampering with evidence, possession of body armor, driving under the influence as well as more alleged criminal acts.
According to LeFlore County Deputies a traffic stop led to Henderson's arrest after they allegedly found narcotics hidden in his underclothing. During the arrest and booking of Henderson, deputies reportedly struggled with Henderson who refused to comply or allow them to search him.
