WISTER — The streak of trips to the state tournament is now at four for the Wister Wildcats baseball team. But it almost didn't happen.
In last week's Class A Regional Tournament in Wister, the Wildcats were shocked in their opener by county rival Cameron — which had lost all the previous games to Wister — to drop into the loser's bracket of the regional.
