There is one OK Kids state baseball title coming to LeFlore County for 2014.
The Wister Wildcats went through undefeated to win the OK Kids Coach-Pitch State Tournament in Weatherford on Saturday, beating Mooreland 14-1 in the title game.
The other two county teams trying to win a state title this past weekend, the Panama Boomers and the Heavener Thunder, fell short in their bids for championships.
In the OK Kids Prep State Tournament at Fuller Park at Crystal Beach in Woodward, the Boomers lost Friday 7-0 to the Pauls Valley Panthers, who lost to the Boomers in the opening day of the tournament last Tuesday.
The Thunder suffered a 12-0 shutout at the hands of Tuttle on Friday at the OK Kids Peewee State Tournament in Weatherford.
