Spring is just around the corner, and the weather is giving us brief glimpses of what is in store. I am getting excited about doing some fishing and turkey hunting.
Chuck Restine sent me a picture of a good stringer of bass he caught at Broken Bow last weekend. It is about time to try and catch some bass.
Kaye Carter has informed me that Dan and I are going to catch her some crappie this spring, and you can bet that we are going to do our best to make her very happy.

It is that time of year again, and the Wister athletes are selling tickets on a Massimo 500 EFI 4x4 buggy. Once again, this is for a great cause since we use it to help buy shoes for our athletes among other thing.
The drawing is at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Wister High School cafetorium. The $20 dollar ticket will get you and your family in for a meal, and get your name in for the buggy — and many more prizes including several guns.
If you want a ticket, get in touch with a Wister athlete or myself, and we will fix you up.
Have a great week!
