CAMERON — The Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs softball team got its first win of the season as the Lady Bulldogs outlasted the Lady Yellowjackets 20-14 Tuesday afternoon, but lost its other game to the McCurtain Lady Bulldogs 10-9.
The Lady ’Jackets fell 10-5 to McCurtain's girls in the third game of the day.
Heavener 12, Howe 0; Heavener 12, Gans 2; Howe 14, Gans 7: In Heavener, the Lady Wolves got a pair of home wins Tuesday afternoon.
In the win over Howe, the Lady Wolves scored four runs in the opening inning to take control.
In Heavener's victory over Gans, the Lady Wolves erupted for nine runs in the first inning to put the game away as they took a 9-1 lead.
In Howe's win over Gans, the Lady Lions got their first win as they scored twice in the first inning, once in the second inning and five in the third for an 8-0 lead.
Pocola 4, Panama 2; Tahlequah 10, Pocola 0; Tahlequah 10, Panama 0: In Pocola, the Lady Indians split their two games, while the Lady Razorbacks went winless on the day.
Pocola will not play in today's three-way at Cameron with Wister. The Lady Indians won't play until 1 p.m. Monday in a three-way at Red Oak with Oktaha.
Keota 8, Wister 5; Red Oak 16, Wister 2: In Red Oak, it was a rough for the Lady ’Cats.
Against the Lady Lions, Keota rallied from a 4-2, first-inning deficit by scoring two runs in the fourth inning and four runs in the fifth to take an 8-4 lead.
Against the Lady Eagles, Red Oak jumped to a 2-0 lead after an inning, but Wister cut the deficit to 2-1 in the second inning. However, the Lady Eagles struck with an eight-run third to take a 10-1 lead.
