Fenton Motors of Poteau, the local Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM dealership, is under new management, and has committed its focus to local customers, community events and businesses, say General Manager Keith Snyder and General Sales Manager Sam Balzanna.
Snyder came to the dealership on Dec. 4 and became general manager on Feb. 6. Balzanna, who has been with the dealership since October 2011, became new car sales manager in June of 2012 and was recently promoted to general sales manager in December.
The men, both with long experience in business and car sales, say they are working together to better connect with local customers.
One of the ways they are showing their commitment to their customers is a new program called the Fenton Advantage. Balzanna said that every new car sold from the dealership now comes with the Fenton Advantage, which includes free oil changes, tire rotation, front end alignment checks and 14 point inspection for as long as the buyer owns the car.
“That can amount to thousands of dollars in products and services,” said Snyder.
The renewed customer commitment extends to the community as well, said Snyder. “We believe in putting money back into our community. An example of that Snyder shared the dealership recently paid the expenses of six local athletes and two coaches to go to Oklahoma City for the Special Olympics.
Balzanna said the dealership believes it has to “treat the customer with respect and integrity.” He says whenever a customer has question, they make sure to take the time provide the answers in a timely manner.
Balzanna said the new attitude is paying off, with the dealership setting a new car sales record in February. “The product line is extremely strong and aggressive,” he said.
Snyder said our goal is to attract local customers and encourage those from nearby communities “to make the short drive here,” and create a “destination” for their car buying and service experience.
