What’s new at the tag office? With the passing of SB1983, delinquent registration penalties may no longer be waived due to vehicles being in an inoperable condition. This bill went into effect August 24. However there is a penalty waiver applicable to Oklahoma resident military personnel.
HB3093 will eliminate titling and registering of canoes and paddleboats. Canoes are outlines as follows: both ends being sharp and propelled by paddling. Kayaks will fall under this category also along with paddleboats which are less than eight feet in length and are propelled solely by human power through a belt, chain or gears.
Hopefully in the near future we will receive our new driver’s license equipment. It will have many new features that will enable us to serve our customers more quickly. It will also have the ability to put the veteran symbol on your driver’s license provided the customer qualifies for this and brings us the proper documents.
Meet your title clerks: Darylann Wilson has been employed at the agency since January 2012. Darylann graduated high school from Leflore. Amanda Sterrett has been with the agency since March 2011. She graduated from Panama High School. Jordan Keller is the manager of the agency and has been with the agency since August 2004. Jordan graduated from Poteau High School.
Kim Robertson has been the tag agent since April 2003. She graduated from Leflore High School.
