TUSKAHOMA — There will be several events taking place for this year's Tuskahoma Labor Day Festival, which will be Aug. 30-Sept. 1.
For the basketball lovers, there will be 3-on-3 basketball tournaments on Aug. 31 for all men's, women's and coed teams.
There will be three divisions of four-man roster teams, with the divisions being ages 18-and-older in the women's division, a “young guns” division for men ages 18 to 35 and a “old timers” division for ages 36 and older.
As for five-man coed rosters, the mini division will be ages 9-11, tweens ages 12-14 and teens ages 15-18. All coed teams must have either three boys and two girls, or three girls and two boys on the rosters.

The Chief Pyle Youth Fitness Challenge will take place Aug. 30 on the County Chambers lawn. The event is open to youth ages 8 to 18, with registration beginning at 5 p.m. and the contest at 6 p.m.

The “Tough, Tough Choctaw” contest will take place at 5 p.m. Aug. 31 on the Council Chambers lawn. Registration will begin at 4 p.m.

There will be horseshoe pitching tournaments beginning at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 31 with a men's division, women's division, youth division and a senior's division. Registration will be from 8 to 9 a.m., there is a limit of 32 women and children, while the men's limit is 64. There will be a singles tournament for men (seniors), women and youth, a doubles tournament for men (seniors) and women and a ringers championship for men (seniors), women and youth.

The 11th annual Chief Pyle Labor Day Golf Tournament will be Sept. 1 at Sycamore Springs Golf Course in Wilburton. The tournament will be a four-person mixed scramble. Mulligans will be available for $10 each with a maximum of two.

The 5k run will begin at 8 a.m. Aug. 31 at the north entrance to the tribal grounds, which are located at the corner of Oklahoma State Highway 2 and E1630 Road.
There will be a 12-and-younger division, a 13-15 division, age 16-19 division and succeeding five-year age brackets up to age 70-and-older for women and age 75-and-older for men.
