WISTER — Wister pitcher Hunter Gibson threw a two-hit shutout as the Lady Wildcats blanked the Howe Lady Lions 8-0 Friday afternoon.
Gibson struck out nine batters, and only gave up a single apiece to Howe's Kerstein Hall and Braden Dorsey.
Arkoma 12, Bokoshe 4; Arkoma 3, Bokoshe 0: In Arkoma, the Lady Mustangs capped a 4-0 week with Friday's sweep.
Spiro 6, Westville 3: In Spiro, the Lady Bulldogs rallied from a 3-1 deficit by scoring four runs in the fourth inning and added an insurance run in the sixth inning.
Whitesboro 13, Eagletown 8: In Whitesboro, the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 5-0 lead after an inning and never lost the lead. The Lady Eagles did cut the deficit to 5-4 after a pair of two-run innings in the second and third innings, but they never got any closer.
Editor's note: Panama's road three-way at Henryetta and Dale was rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30. Panama coach Grant Ralls said there is a chance Dale will not participate.
