WILBURTON — When Koda Glover was a Heavener Wolf, he was considered one of the best LeFlore County athletes of his class. Now, “Perfect Game” magazine has tabbed him one of the best junior-college baseball players.
Glover, now playing at Eastern Oklahoma State College, was earlier this season rated the 25th-best JUCO prospect in the United States. Since then, he's been upped to the 21st-best.
“My freshman year, it was the same thing,” said Glover, who will begin his sophomore season for the Mountaineers at noon today in a home doubleheader against Pratt (Kan.) Community College. “But when you've been out of it a year, people tend to forget about you. It's just a number. You really can't put anything more than that on it.”
