ARKOMA — The Bokoshe Tigers got their first baseball win in several years Thursday afternoon, beating the Arkoma Mustangs 7-3.
Trailing 2-0 after an inning, the Tigers scored five runs in the second inning, highlighted by Randy Collins' two-run triple as well as four Arkoma errors, to take a 5-2 lead after two innings.
Talihina 5, Leflore 2: In Leflore, the Golden Tigers won their third straight game. Talihina broke a 2-all tie with a two-run fifth inning and a single run in the sixth inning.
Hartshorne 12, Cameron 0; Crowder 6, Panama 4: In the Crowder Tournament, the Miners one-hit the Yellowjackets, who only could muster a single by Tre' Obregon off Hartshorne pitching.
The Miners scored three runs in each of the first two innings, then doubled that output in the third inning to put the game into run-rule status.
The Demons handed the Razorbacks their first loss of the season as they scored five runs in the seventh inning to rally from a 4-1 deficit.
Sallisaw-Central 11, Arkoma 1: Tuesday at Sallisaw-Central High School, the Mustangs cut the deficit to 2-1 in the third inning, but the Tigers scored three runs in the third inning and six in the fourth inning to put the game into run-rule status.
