Alvin C. Schneider, 74, of Poteau died Monday, July
18, 2011, in Poteau. Alvin was born in Titusville, Pa., on
Oct. 23, 1936 to Nicolas and Hazel (Stufflebeam)
Schneider. Alvin worked in city maintenance.
Survivors include his wife, Leora of the home; three daugh-
ters, Lori Schneider McKeown of Fillmore, Calif., Chery
Schneider McGraw of Poteau, Connie Upton of Summerfield;
one son, Allen Schneider of Poteau; 23 grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Schneider of Titusville;
other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, at Evans
Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with the Rev. Keith Williams
officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
