KANSAS CITY, Kan. — In a pair of games completely opposite of each other, the Oklahoma Elite softball team was able to win both ways to open action in the 2011 World Series Tuesday morning at Blue Valley Sports Complex.
The Elite handled Lees Summit, Mo., 9-1 in a five-inning, run-rule game, but had to rally from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Minnesota Chill 4-2 to go 2-0 so far in pool-play action.
The Elite played its third game of pool play Wednesday afternoon against the Wichita (Kan.) Impact at Mid-America Sports Complex.
