I took a few minutes the other day and flipped through the online edition of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation’s 2011-12 Hunting Guide. The advertisements are interactive, and in full color.
If you find one that interests you, all you have to do is click the ad, and it takes you to that business’ Website. I think it’s great, and you should go check it out. Be sure to click the link that says “NEW Digital Edition.”
While flipping through it, I noticed that you can now buy a fiscal-year hunting license that runs from July 1 through June 30. This keeps you from having to buy another license on Jan. 1 to hunt the last two weeks of bow season and the rest of squirrel season.
This could be convenient. You can buy one license in the summer (before the bulk of the hunting begins) and not have to worry about it again until following summer.
