Poteau win away from County Tournament championship; Spiro, Panama other teams remaining in LCT

The previous two times the Poteau Lady Pirates and the Spiro Lady Bulldogs played, the games were close. In Thursday night's 2011 LeFlore County Fast-Pitch Softball Tournament winner's-bracket final at the Poteau Area Recreational Complex, it was not close.
Due to seven Spiro miscues, Poteau ended up winning 8-0 in a five-inning, run-rule contest to reach Thursday night's championship game.
The Lady Bulldogs were in the loser's-bracket final Thursday night against Panama, which stayed alive with a 5-0 win over Wister Wednesday night.
Both the Lady Razorbacks and the Lady Wildcats won their first elimination games of the night on Wednesday. Panama run ruled Howe 11-1, while Wister outlasted Heavener 9-6.
