With Week 4's arrival, most of the LeFlore County teams are now entering district play. The only exception is Talihina, which won't do so until next week. Bokoshe is playing non-district foe Eagle Point Christian Academy, but has played two District C-4 games among its first three games this season.
Poteau will be in its District 4A-4 opener with Hilldale at Costner Stadium, while Spiro will get District 3A-8 play started with a road game at Idabel.
As for District 2A-6, all non-Talihina teams are home to begin district play — Hartshorne is at Heavener, Wilburton is at Panama and Vian is at Pocola.
After playing a non-district game last week, Arkoma returns to District C-4 play as the Mustangs entertain the Bluejacket Chieftains. When they played last year, they combined for 122 points as Arkoma prevailed 64-58.
