WISTER — The Wister Wildcats baseball team began its first step toward a four-peat as far as trips to state are concerned.
Friday afternoon in the Class A District Tournament, the ’Cats handled the Crowder Demons 17-0 in three innings to win the title.
The Wildcats pretty much dominated their two games on Thursday, beating Crowder 10-0 and Howe 16-1.
The Lions were the first team eliminated from the tournament, losing a hard-fought 10-8 game to the Demons.
The Wildcats (19-2) will find out Monday where they will go, who they will face and when they will play in next week's Class A Regional Tournament.
