CAMERON — Lady Luck returned to the Cameron Lady Yellowjackets.
Tasha Janway's buzzer-beating 3-point basket lifted the Lady ’Jackets to a 43-41 come-from-behind win over the McCurtain Lady Bulldogs Friday night at the Cameron Gym.
The win gave the Cameron girls their second win of the season.
Heavener 54, Hartshorne 46: In Heavener, the Lady Wolves jumped out to a 10-6 lead after one period and never relinquished the advantage.
Spiro 61, Roland 56: In Roland, leading 12-10 after one period, the Lady Bulldogs took charge of the game with a 15-4 second quarter for a 27-14 lead at halftime. The Rangers made a game of it in the second half as Roland outscored Spiro 42-34, but the rally fell short.
Wister 48, Keota 33: In Keota, the Lady Wildcats broke a 24-24 halftime tie by outscoring the Lady Lions in the second half by 15 points, 24-9, to win going away.
Wilburton 70, Pocola 37: In Pocola, the Lady Diggers jumped out to a 17-7 lead after one period on the Lady Indians. Pocola would have only been down by five points at halftime, but Wilburton hit five 3-point baskets in the second quarter to help propel the Lady Diggers to a 32-12 halftime lead.
Quinton 44, Whitesboro 31: In Quinton, the Lady Bulldogs never led in the game, down 10-5 after one period and 19-12 at halftime. Whitesboro did get the deficit cut to two points in the third quarter, but never got the lead.
