KINTA — The Bokoshe Lady Tigers find themselves just three wins from the Class B State Tournament.
The Lady Tigers took the first step toward a trip to State Fair Arena — a.k.a., “The Big House” — as they won the Class B District Tournament with a 43-34 win over the Midway Lady Chargers Saturday night.
The Lady Tigers will play Braggs at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Class B Regional Tournament at Boynton. The winner will then play at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Stroud against the winner of Thursday night's game between Deer Creek-Lamont and McCurtain for the regional title — and needing just one more win to get to the Class B State Tournament.
However, Thursday night's loser will still have a chance to advance to next week's Class B Area Tournament in Cleveland by winning games on Friday and Saturday.
But for the Tigers, their season came to an end with a 77-36 loss to the Chargers Friday night. They finished the season at 0-22.
