The Poteau Lady Pirates softball program will have an age 6-7 coach-pitch league beginning in May and end its season in June.
Players must have been age 7 by Jan. 1, 2012, or must turn age 6 by Jan. 1, 2013.

The Poteau Kiwanis Spring Scramble Golf Tournament will begin at 9 a.m. April 28 at Choctaw Country Club. The tournament was originally scheduled for April 14 but had to be changed to a different date.
The tournament will benefit Boys and Girls Club of LeFlore County and LeFlore County Youth Services.
Entry fee is $50 per person, if paid before the tournament date, $60 the date of the tournament or $200 per team.
Tournament hole sponsorships are available for $100. Businesses or individuals can sponsor a team and hole for $250.

The first annual Masonic Tournament will take place April 20-21 at the Poteau Area Recreational Complex.
There will be a T-ball tournament and an age-8-and-younger softball tournament.

The Brittany Cox Memorial Golf Tournament will begin at 7 a.m. May 5 at Wolf Ridge Golf Course. The tournament will conclude when darkness falls. Lunch will be provided.
The entry fee for the two-man scramble is $135 per team. Hole sponsorships are available at $100 per hole.
Deadline to purchase a hole sponsorship will be Sunday. All proceeds will benefit Poteau High School.

The third annual Village 2 Village Golf Tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. June 23 at Wolf Ridge Golf Course.
Entry fee for the four-man scramble is $280 per team. After June 16, the entry fee will increase to $320. Entry fee includes green fees, cart and a barbecue lunch.
Mulligans will be available at $5 each with a limit of one per nine holes.
There will be a putting contest, with the entry fee being $5 per putt or $10 for three putts.

The 10th annual Carl Albert State College Scholarship Golf Scramble will begin at 10 a.m. May 12 at Shadow Creek Country Club in Sallisaw.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. May 12.

The winning team will win $600, with the second-place team getting $450 and a wild-card drawing will take place with the lucky team earning $300.
