Heavener girls come out with title in Class 5A District Tournament; Season ends for Spiro Lady Bulldogs

HEAVENER — The Heavener Lady Wolves captured the Class 5A District Tournament title on Thursday with three wins. After beating Spiro 14-2 to eliminate the Lady Bulldogs, Heavener beat Wilburton twice 13-5 and 13-0 to win the championship.
The Lady Bulldogs opened the day by losing a slugfest to the Lady Diggers by a score of 16-12.
