There were six winning duos in this past weekend's Billy Ray Hoffman Invitational Golf Tournament, which took place Saturday and Sunday at Wolf Ridge Golf Course.
Poteau Lady Pirates Coach Randall Wheat and Jerry Little won the championship flight title with a 121. Billy Torrix and Kyle Tingle tied Wheat and Little at 121, but settled for second place when Wheat and Little won the scorecard playoff according to hole handicap. Cody and Wes Pugh were third (124).
In president's flight, Ronnie Burgess and Homer Oglesby took home top honors with a 124, edging out runners-up Robbie Gibson and Matt Whitekiller (125) by one shot. Sean Coyle and Jason May came in third (126).
Johnathan Burgess and Robert McCuller bested the field in the first flight with a 130. Damien Scott and Gary Dodd were second (134) by a shot over Joey Loggains and Brett Casey (135).
In second flight, Panama High School fast-pitch softball coach/athletic director Grant Ralls and Robbie Ellis won with a 136, finishing a stroke ahead of Jon Clarke and Jim Waddle (137). Matt Blake and Greg Best came in third (139).
Kenny Pickle and Doug Sanders won the third-flight title with a 141, besting the duo of Mike and Jerry Sullivan (142) by a shot. Scott Brown and Sam Mouada were third (143).
In fourth flight, Alen McDaniel and Perry Reed took home the title with a 148. B.J. and Lane Robertson were second (150) and Shadd Stover and James Ford came in third (151).
