Brad Speaker, 61, of Pocola died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. He was born April 5, 1951, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Charles “Bud” and Bobbie Speaker. He was the owner and operator of Speaker Trailer Sales in Pocola. He also served in the U.S. Army, was a rancher, avid hunter and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Speaker of the home; two sons, Brent Speaker of Fort Smith and Jared Speaker and his wife, Tamara, of Fort Smith; his mother-in-law Dora “Mom” Howard; one uncle, Danny Robison of Fort Smith; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
Visitation will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N. 12th St., Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Curnutt, Terry Smittle, Jeff Been, Roy Rains, Joey Winton, Bob Davis, and Jackie Lewis.
Memorial Contributions may be sent to First Lutheran Church, 1115 N. D St., Fort Smith.
