STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State Cowboys took down a struggling West Virginia team by a score of 55-34 Saturday afternoon at Boone Pickens Stadium.
Enid's Clint Chelf showed good poise and command of the OSU offense, going 22-for-31 for 292 yards and four touchdowns. Receiver Josh Stewart had a big game, catching 13 passes for 172 yards and two TDs and rushing for another.
“We had a good game,” said Mike Gundy, OSU's coach. “I think the biggest area of improvement for us is our coverage. Our guys really stepped up and made some good plays.”
