Jayce Blake, 8, of Howe was runner-up in the girls age 8-9 division at the U.S. Kids Oklahoma State Tournament recently in Tulsa. She qualified to participate in the U.S. Kids Regional Tournament, which will take place Dec. 21-22 in West Palm Beach, Fla. Blake is coached by Hannah Ward, Poteau High School's Class 4A state champion from last spring.
