I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving and thanks God for all the blessings — past and present — He has given you. I did as arrived Wednesday night in Enid to enjoy the holiday with my 86-year mom. We both slaved in the kitchen on Thursday — not. We decided to go to Golden Corral for our Thanksgiving Day meal. I'm actually going to be gone until early next week, which I can never remember having that much time off during the athletic school year in my 22 years as a sports writer. Mind you, I'm not complaining.
Week 14 Pigskin Picks Ballot Will Run Tuesday
Due to not knowing Tulsa's Conference USA title game opponent for the Dec. 1 contest until late Saturday, the decision was made to wait and put the ballot for the Week 14 contest — which will be the last one for this season — in Tuesday's edition.
