LeRoux appears in Arizona court

701Corp owner, William Joseph LeRoux, 47, of Hodgen, appeared in court on Monday in Maricopa County Arizona after being indicted on 12 child sex abuse counts.

Area business owner, William Joseph LeRoux Jr., 47, of Hodgen, was scheduled to appear in LeFlore County District Court today as part of the conditions for being released on a fugitive bail. The bail was set after LeRoux was arrested on a grand jury indictment from Maricopa County Arizona for 12 counts of sexual misconduct with a minor. LeRoux refused to sign extradition to return to Arizona in October and was released on a fugitive bond while Arizona obtained a governor's warrant.
With LeRoux's appearance in Arizona, the LeFlore County case was subsequently dismissed as he is no longer considered a fugitive.
LeRoux is scheduled to appear in Maricopa County Superior Court in January for a pretrial conference.
