BOKOSHE — A pair of Miranda McFarland free throws in the waning seconds helped the Bokoshe Lady Tigers to a 53-51 win over the Arkoma Lady Mustangs on Friday night at Bokoshe Tigers Fieldhouse.
With 12 seconds left, McFarland hit two charity tosses to give the Lady Tigers a 53-51 lead.
The Lady Mustangs had one last chance to tie or win the game, but did not get a good shot off.
Howe 53, Quinton 38: In Howe, the Lady Lions celebrated homecoming with a strong fourth-quarter rally. Leading only by five points at 31-26 after three periods, the Lady Lions outscored the Lady Savages 22-12 in the final quarter to win going away.
Spiro 53, Stilwell 45: In Spiro, the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to an 18-8 lead after a period.
Wister 62, Keota 59, OT: In Wister, with the game tied at 51-all at the end of regulation, the Lady Wildcats outscored the Lady Lions 11-8 in overtime to make it a happy homecoming.
Heavener 44, Hartshorne 33: In Hartshorne, the Lady Wolves trailed 11-8 after a period, but outscored the Lady Miners 13-4 in the second quarter to take a 21-15 lead at halftime.
Talihina 38, Stigler 33: In Stigler, the Lady Golden Tigers, who trailed 14-7 after a quarter, outscored the Lady Panthers 31-19 over the final three periods — including holding Stigler to only nine second-half points.
Wilburton 51, Pocola 26: In Wilburton, the Lady Diggers jumped out to a 12-4 lead on the Lady Indians after a period.
