Carl Albert baseball team rained out Thursday at NOC-Tonkawa, rescheduled for Sunday; Busy week ahead for Vikings; Friday's CASC home softball twinbill rescheduled for next Friday

The Carl Albert State College baseball team was rained out in its Thursday road doubleheader against Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. The two teams will make up that twinbill at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.The Vikings and the Mavericks will play two games beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ival Goodman Field.That doubleheader sets up four straight days of action for the Vikings. After playing back-to-back twinbills against NOC-Tonkawa, the Vikings will make up their single nine-inning home game against Connors State College at 3 p.m. Monday — the game was rained out on March 30.Then, the Vikings will head 40 miles west to Wilburton to meet archrival Eastern Oklahoma State College at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.The CASC Lady Vikings softball team rescheduled its make-up home twinbill against Seminole State at 2 p.m. next Friday. The two were rained out here on Thursday and were going to play the following day, but the decision was made late Thursday to make up the doubleheader next Friday.The Lady Vikings will play two games against archrival Eastern at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wilburton.
