Hodgen woman Life Flighted after Saturday wreck

A 39-year-old Hodgen woman was taken by Tulsa Life Flight to St. John's Hospital in Tulsa on Saturday [July 8, 2017] evening after her vehicle went through a fence and rolled south of Hodgen.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports Brandi Brooks was in stable condition with leg injuries after the wreck around 10 p.m. on Merle Branch Road, just south of Conser Road in Hodgen.

OHP reports Brooks was headed northbound in a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer when she left the road to the left, went through a barbwire fence and rolled one and a half times before the vehicle came to rest on its roof. Brooks was partially ejected from the vehicle.

OHP reports she was not wearing a seat belt. The cause of the collision was listed as driving under the influence.

Trooper Cody Jackson investigated the wreck. Assisting the investigation was LeFlore County Sheriff's Department and troopers Michael Scantling, Josh Blake and Jonathan Lipe.
