Industry leaders and politicians alike gathered Tuesday at the Humphrey farm, outside of Muse, to welcome a new high-speed broadband Internet service that will effectively change lives of rural residents in the area. Representing Leflore County at the announcement were Sonja Hall, the State Broadband Coordinator; Rep. Trey Caldwell; Rep. Kiger Lundy; Bill Northey, Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation in the United States Department of Agriculture; former state Rep. and retired veterinarian, Lee Denny from Cushing and Betty Ford, representing MarkWayne Mullins.
