Rider of OSU's 'Bullet' has ties to LeFlore County

Most of all the folks who read my stories know I'm Oklahoma Sooner born and bred. When I die, I'll be Sooner dead! But I met the most interesting person Wednesday. Her name is Jennifer Cunningham, and she is a drug representative for Lilly's, whose main prescription drugs are Cymbalta, Cialis and Axiron.Jennifer came into my lab, and noticed all the OU memorabilia on the wall, and we started up a conversation. As we were talking, Jennifer said that she and her husband both graduated from Oklahoma State, and that she had strong roots in LeFlore County. She said that the Watts family around Shady Point were her grandparents. After that, she told me that she loves horses, and she has ridden her quarterhorse, “Leaguers Country Zip,” a dark black registered American quarterhorse quite a lot lately. Her horse stands 15.1 hands tall, weighs 1,150 pounds, was born in Florida in 1997 and apples and carrots are its favorite food.OU and OSU fans who will either be in attendance or watch tonight's Bedlam game at Stillwater's Boone Pickens Stadium will have a good chance at seeing Jennifer's horse — especially after an OSU touchdown. OSU fans better know Jennifer's horse as “Bullet.”
