A three-run fourth inning propeled the Poteau Pirates to a 3-2 win over the Heavener Wolves on Thursday afternoon at Town Creek Park.Trailing 2-0, the Pirates took advantage of two Heavener errors and a two-run single by Brynn Hammon to put Poteau ahead 3-2 after four innings.The Wolves broke a scoreless tie with an RBI single by Noah Davis and a sacrifice fly by Hunter Tiffee to put them ahead 2-0.Howe 14, Arkoma 4: In Arkoma, the Lions won their second straight game this week behind the pitching of Chase Blake, who was the winning pitcher in both games this week.Blake struck out eight batters in three innings pitched.The Lions, who trailed 4-0 after an inning, had a pair of seven-run innings in the third and fourth innings.Panama 10, Bokoshe 0: In Panama, Panama pitcher Dakota Fout threw a perfect four-inning game for the Razorbacks as he struck out 11 of the 12 batters he faced.Wister 7, Talihina 3: In Talihina, the Wildcats broke a scoreless tie with a two-run third inning for a 2-0 lead, which became a 4-1 advantage after four.Leflore 8, Smithville 5; Leflore 10, Eagletown 0: In Smithville, the Savages won both games in Thursday's three-way.In the win over Smithville, the tandem of Cody Crase and Chance Long combined on a one-hitter.In the victory over Eagletown, Blake Crase got his first win of the season, throwing a one-hitter with seven Ks in four innings.Leflore canceled out of Saturday afternoon's three-way at Spiro with Poteau, so it will just be the Pirates and the Bulldogs meeting at 1 p.m. Also, the Savages will not entertain Buffalo Valley on Monday, since they'll meet each other Wednesday in the Class B District Tournament. The Savages will travel to meet Hackett, Ark., at 4 p.m. Monday.Spiro 15, Muldrow 12: In Muldrow, the LeFlore County Bulldogs outlasted Sequoyah County's.Spiro jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the opening inning, and never lost the lead although Muldrow got to within 15-12 with a five-run fourth inning and a two-run fifth inning.Hartshorne 4, Pocola 0: In Pocola, this game was moved from Friday to Thursday to accommodate the Miners, who got a two-hitter from their pitcher — both being a pair of Tanner Francis singles.The Miners scored twice in the first and fourth innings.Editor's note: Complete information on Cameron's three-way at Antlers with Wright City was not available by press time.
