Two detained in alleged school threats

At about 8:30 a.m. May 1 the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department responded to a threat made against the Leflore Public Schools, according to dispatch information. Sheriff's Deputies, Choctaw National Tribal Officers and Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrived at the school and at about 8:50 a.m. gave the all clear after determining staff and students were not harmed. According to the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department website, two people have been detained for questioning in connection with the undisclosed threat.
